For 3+ years: planned over 80 annual marketing & fundraising events, with 100+ nights of programming, ranging from 100 - 9,000 guests, at the Jacksonville Zoo & Gardens
For 1.5 years: Project Manager/Event Planner at Sight and Sound/Mugwump Productions. I managed over 200 projects per year! Including design, planning, day-of-coordination, and production of hybrid A/V & decor.
Currently the Sales and Conference Services Manager at The Lodge at Schroon Lake, utilizing both my management and design skills.
Also freelancing as Mancini & Co., designing and managing events in New England and more.
Event Producer
DESIGN, MANAGEMENT, AND TECHNOLOGY
In 2024 I accepted a position as the Sales and Conference Services Manager at The Lodge at Schroon Lake. Hello Adirondacks!
I am also freelancing as Mancini & Co. and focusing on the New England region. I received my Luxury Event Designer certification from IWED, allowing me to engage with the clientele I desire.
This is a field where trends and technology are constantly changing, so you can never stop learning or researching. I think this is my favorite aspect since no workday or event is ever the same.
Skills required are event design, food & beverage, sales and communication, budgeting and cost management, networking, staff and vendor scheduling, leadership of multiple production crews, show-calling, and knowledge of the technology used (from floral, to A/V, to assembling truss!)
Conservationist
IN LOVE WITH THE AZA
Forever drawn to science, nature, and thoughtful living, it was easy to dive headfirst into service during my 6+ years at the AZA accredited Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens. I worked hard, assisting every department, until finally fulfilling my dream on the new Special Events team as their Marketing Events Coordinator. No task was too big or out of my pay grade and I was always the first to volunteer at events, controlled burns, AAZK activities, and so much more. Non-profits like these are all-hands-on-deck, regardless of title and department - and I loved every minute of it!
Leading the charge on these Marketing Events has greatly influenced my opinions on guest experiences and event flow as well as the importance of community.
I couldn't see myself planning events for any other goal than conservation. This time in my life remains a large part of who I am.
Performer
SAFETY, REGULATION, AND THE NFPA
As the leader of Fahrenheit360 Jacksonville from 2014-2023, I worked to help local fire and circus performers navigate permitting, insurance, taxes, performance safety, NFPA guidelines, and more. While interest in this field has grown and the internet has made props more accessible, training and safety education for performance has remained unsupported. Too many people are "trying it at home"!
I've used my position and network to create a space where anyone can be inspired to practice safety and obtain the proper instruction in the arts they desire. New professionals are encouraged to perform for local non-profit events and to build community connections.
I am also a stilt walker, character actor, and aerialist!
Now, Mancini & Co. provides circus entertainment to many clients, and I work closely with many circus groups in New England and the Adirondacks!
Musician
AN AUDITORY LOGISTICIAN
Music has always been prevalent in the Mancini family. My childhood family room was more like a studio, with a drum set, guitars on the walls, and full sound system. No one was surprised when my siblings and I pursued music in school. My brother is now a session musician, playing for top Billboard artists and teaching!
Along my own journey, I found I loved writing, arranging, theory, and planning more. In fact, before I found events, I planned to be an educator in music theory and even began an internship - which, in the end, enlightened me to my truer desires. I still tutor occasionally! For fun, I sing and play piano, guitar, and trumpet.

Woodworker
FINISH CARPENTRY & PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Handy skills always came naturally!
Planning and executing a remodel, furniture build, or other fine item isn't much different from event planning: there's the long-term plan, the prep, and the execution, making adjustments along the way. In woodworking, you get to create something that lasts a very long time.
I honed my skills (fine handwork as well as electronic) when I helped kick off my fiancé's business, Aesthatim Woodworks. The 2020 pandemic sent me into this job full-time, keeping my project management skills very much in tact!
I still jump in when help is needed, but mostly I've been able to use new skills in my events, building props and facades.
Amateur Pilot
NEXT ON THE BUCKET LIST
I've always wanted to learn how to fly!
I set a goal of completing enough flight hours and passing the tests required to obtain my PPL (Private Pilots License) by the end of 2024. In the future, I hope to reach a multi-engine rating and certifications that allow exploration over any terrain and in IFR.
For now - so long as weather permits, work is light, and I can work hard enough for the costs - I am on track to meet my goal!
